Stephen is the DfE’s Lead Design Advisor for the FE sector. He is a qualified architect and RIBA Client Advisor.

As a practising architect, Stephen has led a wide range of projects in both the public and private sector, from inception to completion.  These include award-winning university and school projects. Before joining the DfE, Stephen ran his own practice specialising in educational projects. Prior to this, he was an architect director for BDP.
