Simon is a qualified management accountant and project delivery professional with over 30 years’ experience delivering education and social infrastructure projects including the rebuilding of schools, colleges, and social housing. He specialised in project finance and PFI schemes prior to joining the DfE in 2012, since when he has supported the rebuilding programmes for schools and further education colleges. He now leads the delivery of the department’s rebuilding programmes for secure and open children’s homes.
