Juliana joined HLM in 2024 and is an experienced professional in the built environment industry having worked across architecture, sustainable design and building physics consultancy in a variety of sectors.  She is passionate about careful architectural design and detailing as well as research, development and application of environmental design concepts and tools for building optimization and streamlining sustainable environmental design of buildings. Her powerful combination of architectural design and building physics experience as well as building services and construction knowledge has been key for a holistic evaluation of building performance; leading teams in achieving the highest standards in the sustainable design and detailing of buildings.  Over her career Juliana has attained a series of professional qualifications, which underpin her experience and outreach. She is a licensed Architect in Portugal and in Brazil, a Chartered Engineer, a Certified Passivhaus Designer, a LEED Accredited Professional (BD+C), a BREEAM Accredited Professional.
