Dr Hiral Patel is Lecturer in Architecture at Cardiff University. Her research and teaching aim to understand better the use of buildings, particularly university spaces and workplaces. She is co-creating a research agenda for future learning environments with a network of academics and industry partners. She is currently co-authoring the third edition of 'Managing the Brief for Better Design'.
